The Chicago Travel & Adventure Show- Inspiring World Travels All Under One Roof

Is 2018 your year to travel? Maybe you’re just curious but have no clue where to go or how to begin planning your trip? Well, make your travel dreams a reality by attending The Chicago Travel and Adventure Show. This show is an excellent way for travelers and the travel curious to discover, plan, and book new places and experiences all in one place! Its also a great place for bloggers to get some new inspiration.

Have you ever wanted to know what it was like to ride a camel? Maybe you’ve been curious about scuba diving? Well, guess what? They have a camel AND on site tank that allows you to try them both out! (but not together) You can discover all these new things and a whole lot more at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Chicago.

As if SCUBA diving and riding camels weren’t enough, the organizers of the travel and adventure show have thought of it all with hundreds of destination and travel vendors to explore and talk with about your next trip. You’ll even be able to score booking discounts and show specials only through this event. Who could wish for more? We can!

This year the Chicago Travel and Adventure show will also host guests such as Samantha Brown, host of Places to Love on PBS (and who also just featured my hometown on her show!)Pauline Frommer, Editorial Director of the Frommer’s Guides, and Rick Steve’s, host of Rick Steve’s Europe and Travel with Rick Steve’s. Performances from various cultures take the Global Beats stage this weekend. Here you will find presentations from Muay Thai Boxing to classical oriental belly dancing and everything in between. Guests are welcome to participate during shows so if you feel the urge, get up and dance with them! Personally, I can’t wait to see some of these!

As we said, they have thought of it all. For all you foodies (and my son) you will be able to watch, and taste test, specialty made dishes from all over the globe at the Taste of Travel Theatre. When I say they have thought of everything I mean it! From culture, food, travel tips, vendors, hands on activities, and more; this show is a fantastic way to get the whole family involved in planning your next adventure!
